Veil types

Hi all,
I have a few questions about types of veils, since I'll most likely be getting online.  I get the length thing, but what is the difference between 1 layer vs multiple layers?  Is it so you can put one layer over your face while keeping another layer in the back? Or just for volume?

Some veils do include a blusher that can be flipped over your face.

Two-layer veils are generally for volume, visual interest, etc.

If you want to wear a blusher, I'd suggest you specifically look for a veil that mentions this feature.
  • So do most people not actually put the veil over the face at all?

If you have a blusher, then you wear it over your face while you walk down the aisle.

    I don't know if there is any statistic on this, necessarily. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020756/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />

If you want to wear a blusher, do it. Otherwise don't worry about it.

If you are totally unsure, ask your FI. I asked mine, and he asked that I not wear a blusher so he could see my face walking down the aisle.

    Totally up to you.

p.s. If you are getting married in church, occassionally some pastors or priests have very strict attire requirements (to include how you wear your veil). Ask if you're not sure.
